Monkey, Joker’s Republic, Not From Concentrate & Tough System (Unofficial Supernova Pre-Party) 

NYC’s only monthly ska party with a tiki twist!

September is “ska month” in NYC, with many of the Supernova bands coming through, and we’re hosting a special Tuesday pre-party to join the fun! This is a special early show, so we’ll have you in bed at at reasonable hour, promise! All bands done by 10:30!

This is Monkey’s first NYC appearance since 2021 as they head down to perform at Supernova, and I’m super excited to have them stop by Skaville!

Our good friends Joker’s Republic (Ska Punk International recording artists) are come over from NJ to give us their inspiring ska-punk sound!

Not From Concentrate will also be coming over from Staten Island to kick things off with their patented “skrunge” sound. We’re also celebrating lead singer Margaret’s birthday, so come out early to wish her well!

We’ll also have selections by Tough System (ft. members of The Toughers, Colombia’s rocksteady soul all-stars!)

Your DJ Ryan Midnight, will be hosting and spinning the late set after the bands are done, full of Supernova-inspired tracks!

Set Times:

7:30 – Not From Concentrate
8:30 – Joker’s Republic
9:30 – Monkey

Non-stop record selections from 7pm to midnight (or later?)!

21+, and no cover (pay what you can). Please bring cash (or Venmo!) to tip each band you see. Dress to impress, if that’s your thing, and we’ll see you on the dance floor!
